What we collect
GLLIT.tv doesn't ask for or store any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no advertising and no third-party analytics.
Like most websites, our server keeps short-lived technical logs (for example IP address, time and the page requested). They're used only to run and protect the site, aren't shared, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Visitor counts
To know how many people use the site, our server counts page views as it serves them, without cookies or tracking scripts. Each visitor is counted once a day using a code made from their connection and browser with a secret that changes daily, so we can tell how many people visited today but not who they are or what they did on other days. Your IP address is never stored for this.
We keep only daily totals: views per page, the website that linked you here, your device type (phone, tablet or computer) and your browser's language. Only the site's owner can see them.
Things stored in your browser
We don't set cookies. Your browser's local storage keeps a few preferences on your own device, such as light or dark mode and your favourite videos. They never leave your browser, and clearing your site data removes them.
Videos
Videos are embedded with YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you press play. Once a video is playing, YouTube may collect information under Google's Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service. Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers.
Video lists are fetched by our server, so your browser never talks to the YouTube Data API directly.
Charts and cover art
Chart positions come from the public charts of Melon, Genie, Bugs and FLO, collected by our own chart server. Album covers on the Charts and Lyrics pages are provided by Apple Music and passed through our server, so your browser contacts Apple only if you follow an Apple Music link. No information about you is sent to either.
Children
GLLIT.tv doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There's nothing to sign up for.
